H3X Technologies is proud to announce the successful completion of two milestone programs supported in partnership with NASA, advancing the state of the art in high-performance electric propulsion systems for aerospace applications.
Phase II: HPDM-30 Testing and Validation
This program focused on the fabrication and rigorous testing of the HPDM-30, validating performance across a wide range of operating conditions. Key accomplishments included:
- Characterization of torque, speed, and efficiency at multiple voltage levels
- Over 37 hours of endurance testing, including sustained high-power operation
- Environmental testing including DO-160G shock, vibration, emissions, and high-altitude insulation integrity
- Evaluation of advanced cooling technologies to optimize system thermal performance
Phase II-E: HPDM-140 Prototype and Mission Testing
The follow-on effort expanded development to the HPDM-140, with a focus on design validation and system performance in mission-relevant scenarios. Highlights included:
- Completion of detailed thermal analysis for inverter and motor components
- Full prototype fabrication and test campaign
- Performance validation across varying mission profiles and simulated altitudes up to 30,000 ft
These programs have further strengthened H3X’s capabilities in delivering ultra-compact, high-efficiency electric propulsion solutions for demanding aerospace missions. We thank NASA for its continued support and partnership in enabling the next generation of sustainable flight.
